Winter is coming to an end and with that I wanted to post about a little something I tested out during the coldest months of the year, and consequently the most expensive utility bills of the year.
I have been trying out one of the infrared heaters on the market for the past 4 or 5 months now. It really did work! My electric bills were lower and I felt warmer all winter. It almost reminds me of the “deep down warm” of the wood stoves, but with a LOT less maintenance. They said it heats the items in your room. So it’s kind of like turning all those little things sitting around into little “mini heaters” but whatever it did, it does work.
They claim it cuts your costs. Well I really wanted to test that before I posted anything for you guys. Since its the end of winter now, I think that was a good test time. The end results? I really did cut down on my electric bill.
So, feel warmer, save money, reduce the waste. Sounds like a trifecta to me!
